Mansions

Newport is home to the beautiful mansions that once housed families like the Vanderbilts. It's also where the Great Gatsby movie with Robert Redford & Mia Farrow was filmed. Stop by and visit the Marble House, Rosecliff, or any other Mansion on Bellevue Ave.

Cliff Walk

Along Mansion row along the water is the pleasant Cliff Walk, which has a magnificent view of Easton's Beach and the bay. On a pretty day it is a great walk.

Newport Art Museum

This is a charming arts museum featuring local artists & traveling shows. It is stationed in a converted home with very interesting architecture. Across the way is one of Newport's oldest parks for a pleasant stroll.
