Dress is semi formal. Guys, suit & tie. Ladies, cocktail dresses. Oh and the wedding takes place all on grass, so keep that in mind for shoes.
What's the weather going to be like?
Although it's hard to say these days, typically it is very pleasant to a bit warm at the end of June. Bring a bathing suit. Bring rain gear too just in case, and a shawl or sweater if we have cool evenings.
Where is Fort Adams?
Fort Adams is in Newport, RI. It is a large park off of Ocean Drive. Once you enter the park, keep driving until you can't drive any longer. Check out our When & Where page for more details.
Visit our transportation page for more details. Fort Adams is most accessible by car. From downtown it can take from 15 - 25 minutes with traffic, which is typical during this time of year. Bake in extra time if traveling from farther. Newport has Taxis, and Uber. The venue has a large parking lot that leads right to the entrance.
